Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) in Elgin, IL. You will deliver reliable, resident-focused transportation and coordinate scheduling, ensuring safety and compliance during all shifts.

Responsibilities include driving, managing requests in the system, and supporting programming events. The role requires a valid license, 3 years of driving experience, and a passion for senior care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years old with minimum 3 years licensed driving experience.
• Valid state Driver’s License (Class E) and clean MVR.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lifts.
• Previous experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services during scheduled hours, including designated medical transport days.
• Safely operate community vehicles for medical, recreational, and personal transport.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital system; ensure schedules are accurate.
• Maintain vehicle readiness with routine inspections and cleanliness.
• Support Entertainment & Programming team with outings and events; assist with logistics and safety.
