Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver a structured, reliable transportation program for residents. The role goes beyond driving, encompassing coordination, scheduling, and clear resident communication.

You will operate community vehicles for medical, recreational, and personal trips, manage requests in the digital system, maintain vehicle readiness, and assist the programming team with outings while upholding safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have a valid state Driver's License (Class E in Missouri) and Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems while assisting residents with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours, including coverage of designated medical transportation days.
• Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical, recreational, and personal transportation to residents.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in our digital transportation management system, ensuring schedules are accurate and aligned with guidelines and availability.
• Maintain vehicle readiness by completing routine inspections and ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Support the Entertainment & Programming team with outings and events, including planning, logistics, resident participation, and safety compliance.
• During non-driving hours, provide community support as needed, including programming and interdepartmental tasks.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in our digital transportation management system, ensuring schedules are accurate and aligned with guidelines and availability.
