Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC in Palos Heights, IL, is seeking a full-time Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver reliable, resident-focused transportation services within the community. You'll drive community vehicles for medical, recreational, and personal trips, coordinate schedules in our system, maintain vehicle readiness, and support events and programming.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 21+ years old with at least 3 years of licensed driving.
Valid state Driver’s License and clean MVR.
Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lifts.
Experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours, including coverage of designated medical transportation days.
Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical, recreational, and personal transportation.
Enter and manage transportation requests in our digital transportation management system, ensuring schedules are accurate.
Maintain vehicle readiness through routine inspections and ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
Support the Entertainment & Programming team with outings, planning, resident participation, and safety adherence.
