Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Driver to provide safe resident transport to appointments and activities, ensuring courteous service and compliance with policies. You’ll assist with CNA duties between rounds and stay flexible for special occasions, holidays, and weekends.

Requirements include a valid CNA license, CPR certification, a GED or high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. Excellent communication and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA license in good standing with the State.
• Current CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must be 21+ to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments and activities safely.
• Comply with facility and nursing policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times.
• Be on call during scheduled days and holidays as needed.
• Assist CNA or Maintenance duties between appointments.
• Report vehicle issues or unsafe conditions to the Administrator.
• Secure wheelchairs and assist residents into/out of vehicles.
