Job summary

Halstead-Health- Transportation Driver role focusing on safe and courteous resident transportation to appointments and activities. You will follow facility policies, report any abuse or safety concerns, and assist residents in wheelchairs.

The job requires CNA license in good standing, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or GED. You may be on-call weekly and assist with CNA or maintenance tasks as needed.

• CPR certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident transportation to appointments and activities in a safe, courteous manner.
• Comply with facility policies and report abuse/neglect immediately.
• Assist residents in wheelchairs and in/out of the vehicle.
• Plan routes and manage time to accommodate scheduled appointments.
• Be on-call every 3rd week; assist CNA or maintenance as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report repairs or hazards promptly.
