Job summary

Intersect Healthcare is seeking a Driver – Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to operate the company shuttle and transport residents to authorized locations, providing CNA care if needed during transport.

The role requires assisting residents in boarding and alighting, securing wheelchairs, keeping the vehicle clean, and completing basic trip records and inspections. A CNA, CPR, Chauffeur’s license, and a valid state driver's license are required; ongoing safety training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nurse Aide certification.

• Chauffeur’s license; valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe transportation services for assigned communities.
• Assists residents to enter and exit vehicle safely.
• Safely secures residents’ wheelchairs to restraining devices.
• Keeps vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Reports resident medical issues in a timely manner.
• Maintains weekly vehicle inspection records and trip checklists.
• Participates in annual defensive driving and transport training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
