Job summary

Sevita’s ResCare Community Living program is seeking caregivers to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings and periodic programs. This non-exempt, hourly role offers either full-time or part-time hours and opportunities to help with daily living activities, health maintenance, and community integration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support per individual service/program plans, including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, skill/behavioral development.
• Assist with daily activities: Personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.
• Maintain records and confidentiality; document progress and activity.
• Support safe, respectful relationships with individuals, families, guardians and staff.
• Assist with health care as needed and report issues to supervisors.
