Job summary

ResCare Community Living, part of the Sevita family, seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help individuals live more independently in community-based settings.

You will deliver person-centered services, assist with daily living activities, document progress, and support health and safety in residential programs. This hourly role offers flexible schedules for part-time or full-time needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support per individual service plans, including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, skill/behavioral development.
• Assist with daily activities: Personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.
• Accurately documents progress and activity; reviews records and logs to stay informed about changes in service plans; maintains confidentiality.
• Maintains healthy and professional relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and case managers; follows Sevita customer service standards.
