Job summary

Oriana House, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a full-time 2nd shift Residential Counselor to supervise clients and ensure safety and daily activities. This role offers tiered pay and opportunities for advancement.

The pay range is $17.00 per hour with a HS Diploma or GED, or $18.00 per hour with a Bachelor’s Degree. Benefits include health plans, life insurance, a 403(b), paid time off, holidays, tuition reimbursement, EAP, HSA/FSAs, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred for higher pay.
• Experience supervising clients in a facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily activities of clients while in the facility to include, but not limited to: clean up, signing in and out of the facility, recreation, visitation, and meal times.
• Accurately accounts for the whereabouts of each client by conducting and documenting facility whereabouts three times per shift in accordance with Agency policy and procedures.
• Maintains an active presence on the floor (common and dorm areas) by conducting frequent circulations of the facility at a minimum 60 minute interval.
• Enforces and implements Agency and program policies and procedures and keeps current of changes in policies and procedures.
• Completes scheduled activities including intakes, random alco-sensor tests, urine drug screens, dorm searches, pat downs, and emergency drills in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Conducts alcohol testing and collects urine specimens in accordance with Agency policy and procedure.
