Texas Inter-Faith Management/40i, a non-profit affiliated with The Inter-Faith Group, seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support daily property operations, leasing, and resident relations. You will help ensure efficient operations, compliance with housing regulations, and accurate documentation across leasing and resident files.

The role requires organizational, detail-oriented, customer-service-focused candidates who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of property management and leasing operations.
• Knowledge of affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, vouchers).
• Fair Housing laws and regulations knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and resident-relations skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized with strong time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with daily property operations.
• Support leasing from application through move-out.
• Conduct property tours and respond to inquiries.
• Assist marketing and outreach to maintain occupancy.
• Maintain accurate resident, applicant, leasing, and compliance files.
• Perform bookkeeping and administrative tasks including rent collection.
