Job summary

Texas Inter‑Faith Management/40i is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to manage day-to-day operations of the property, ensure resident satisfaction, and oversee preventive maintenance. The role requires hands-on repairs, plumbing, electrical work, and basic HVAC tasks to maintain safety and function.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a valid driver's license, able to work Monday–Friday with on-call availability and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience as an apartment maintenance technician or similar role.
• HVAC knowledge or certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Valid driver's license, insurance and car registration if driving.
• Ability to be on-call and respond on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property with focus on resident satisfaction and retention.
• Analyze financial statements and write clear reports.
• Prepare lease-related paperwork accurately and timely.
• Perform routine building and systems maintenance including plumbing/electrical/painting.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours and coordinate preventive maintenance.
