Job summary

St. Paul Public Housing Agency is seeking a Program Assistant to join the Resident Services team. Three positions are available: two at 0.90 FTE (36 hours/week) and one at 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week).

The role supports residents in daily living activities and meal services. The incumbent will assist with meals, housekeeping, and record-keeping, while collaborating with the Program Coordinator to deliver services and meet HUD guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 6 months in social service, housekeeping and/or meal preparation.
• Must be able to work in a senior housing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate large-scale meals program for up to 80 participants daily according to guidelines; manage food inventory and safety.
• Perform resident housekeeping duties and assist with daily living activities to support independent living.
• Maintain daily records of services, meals, attendance and wellness checks.
• Assist residents and volunteers; participate in CHSP staff meetings and trainings.
