Job summary

Gables Residential is seeking a Service Manager to lead the maintenance team across our communities. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on delivering exceptional service while managing inspections, safety compliance, and daily operations.

The right candidate will have 3–5 years of apartment maintenance supervision experience, EPA Type I & II certification, and a proven ability to mentor staff, manage budgets, and coordinate vendors for timely, quality work.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ apartment maintenance supervision experience.
• EPA Certification Type I & II required for maintenance work.
• Knowledge of budgeting, bidding, and vendor scheduling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service operations for communities and ensure safety and compliance.
• Lead and mentor the on‑site maintenance team to meet goals.
• Manage budgets, purchase supplies, and coordinate vendor services.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to set expectations and deadlines.
