Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. seeks a Leasing/Community Engagement Associate for Waters at Elm Creek in San Antonio, TX. The role partners with the Community Manager to deliver resident services and build local partnerships that connect residents with needed resources.

The position focuses on presenting properties, processing applications, coordinating community programs and maintaining strong relationships with residents and local organizations to enhance wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing community services programming with residents, staff and local providers.
• Create relationships with local community organizations and agencies to coordinate programming.
• Communicate with residents to inform them of resources and programs via newsletters, flyers, bulletin boards and other channels.
• Coordinate with the site team to ensure staff attendance at activities.
• Build relationships with current and future community members to increase participation.
• Survey the community to identify needs and opportunities for residents' goals.
• Monitor program outcomes and apply evaluation techniques.
• Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing laws related to leasing and management.
• Assist with leasing and resident recertification duties, including presenting properties and processing applications.
