Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of Yardi and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Previous leasing experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants.
• Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, including leasing information and making appointments.
• Process applications.
• Advertise available properties using various media and promotional materials.
• Assist the Property Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Provide consistent customer service per the Atlantic Housing Foundation Way.
• Enter information into the property software system.
• Maintain working knowledge of Fair Housing laws, rules and regulations concerning apartment leasing and management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Leasing Associate will ensure that the property is maintained effectively, market the property and screen prospective tenants. You will maintain favorable relations with tenants, contribute to a positive atmosphere in the office and portray a positive image of the company in your activities. You will oversee and coordinate the orientation of new tenants and assist with performing office management and clerical tasks.

• Processing applications
• Advertising available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials
• Assisting the Property Manager/Assistant Manager

• Entering information into property software system
• Maintaining working knowledge of Fair Housing laws, rules and regulations concerning apartment leasing and management
• Additional duties as assigned

Education and experience:
