Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. is seeking a Leasing/Community Engagement Associate for Palm House Apartments in Fort Worth, TX. The role partners with residents, staff and local community services to implement engaging programs and provide access to resources.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, organizational and communication skills, plus experience with community outreach and leasing support. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 1+ years of customer service preferred.
• Ability to form and maintain professional relationships with residents and organizations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of local community resources helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing community services programming with residents, staff, and local providers.
• Create relationships with local community service organizations and government agencies to coordinate programs.
• Communicate with residents via newsletters, flyers, bulletin boards, and direct outreach to inform about resources and programs.
• Coordinate with site team to ensure staff attendance at onsite activities.
• Build relationships to increase resident participation and involvement.
• Survey community needs to provide educational and personal goals opportunities.
• Monitor program outcomes and apply evaluation techniques.
• Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing laws related to leasing and management.
• Assist with leasing and resident recertification duties including presenting properties, processing applications, and advertising.
• Promote AHF Customer Service brand across activities.
• Enter information into Yardi and other property software.
• Other duties as assigned.
