Job summary

PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC (PRS) is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support resident services in affordable housing communities in Stafford, TX. The role includes creating monthly activity calendars, engaging residents, recruiting volunteers, and coordinating community programs to improve quality of life.

The ideal candidate will be organized, independent, and comfortable using tablets and basic apps. Hours are 9am–2pm, two days per week, with pay up to $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work 2 days per week; Hours are 9-2pm (Mon–Fri).
• Experience in education, social work, non-profit or related field.
• Experience with children, teens, adults and/or senior citizens.
• Ability to work independently without supervision and multitask.
• Excellent organizational, computer and administrative skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with community and social service resources.
• Must be available to attend quarterly team meetings.
• Comfortable using company-issued technology (iPad) and basic applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming atmosphere to residents and act as initial contact at the community center.
• Prepare reports based on calendars and sign-in sheets; track contracted program hours.
• Design and post monthly calendars and flyers on-site; distribute door-to-door.
• Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, and partner with community groups.
• Log communications with volunteers and donations; submit monthly log.
• Provide information about local resources to residents.
• Engage residents in planning activities and relay needs to staff.
• Monitor interactions with children, adults and seniors.
• Maintain sign-in sheets for activities.
• Manage petty cash and replenish supplies.
• Supervise the community center and keep it organized.
• Maintain PRS binders and documents for management requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
