Job summary

Portfolio Resident Services (PRS) is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to strengthen links between PRS and our affordable housing communities. You will develop and run a monthly calendar of activities and essential resources to support resident social, educational, and economic needs.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, well-organized, friendly, and capable of independent work in a community setting.

Qualifications

Must be available to work 3 days per week; Hours 1-5pm (Mon–Fri)
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required as duties demand
Experience in education, social work, or nonprofit fields suggested
Experience with children, teens, adults and/or seniors is valuable
Strong organizational, computer and administrative skills are essential
Effective written and oral communication skills are important
Familiarity with community resources is helpful
Ability to attend quarterly team meetings and use company devices

Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming atmosphere for residents and be the first point of contact at the community center.
Prepare monthly reports based on calendars, sign-ins, and contracted program hours.
Design and post monthly calendars and on-site flyers; distribute door-to-door throughout the property.
Oversee programs, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, and partner with the community.
Log communications and monthly activities, and report progress to management.
Share information about local resources and assist residents with planning needs.
Monitor activities with diverse age groups and maintain sign-in records.
Maintain organization of PRS paperwork and supplies; support management as needed.
