Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator for Wesley by the Bay in Ocean City, NJ. The role focuses on connecting residents with health and home care services to help them stay independent.

You will meet with residents to assess needs, coordinate with local resources, and support lease/HUD compliance while organizing classes and newsletters for the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience serving older adults or people with disabilities, or in social services in a healthcare setting.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with residents, and some older adults living nearby, to learn what they need and connect them with local services.
• Check in often with residents who need extra support, especially after a hospital stay or rehab.
• Help residents and families plan a move to more care when the time comes.

• Write the resident newsletter and serve as the main contact for resident groups.
• Work with the property manager to help residents meet their lease and HUD requirements.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. No weekends, no evenings. $21.01 to $23.63 per hour. Help older adults at Wesley by the Bay in Ocean City, NJ.

Who You'll Support

Wesley by the Bay is a senior apartment community run by United Methodist Communities. Residents live on their own, and you make sure they know about and can reach the health, home care, and community services that help them stay independent.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

Required:
