Job summary

United Methodist Communities in Ocean City, NJ is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our assisted living team. You will support residents with personal care, assist with daily activities, and work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure compassionate, high-quality care.

This evening shift, 11pm–7am, offers competitive pay of $21.50–$24.25 per hour plus shift differentials, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active New Jersey CNA certification required.

• Support residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily routines.
• Deliver care based on individualized service plans while maintaining accurate records.

• Assist with dining support, transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility aids as needed.
• Foster meaningful resident connections and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team.

What You'll Do

• Support residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily routines
• Deliver care based on individualized service plans while maintaining accurate records
• Provide ongoing resident support through routine wellness checks and attentive care
• Assist with dining support, transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility aids as needed
• Foster meaningful resident connections and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team

What You'll Need

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active New Jersey CNA certification

Preferred:

• Experience in a long-term care setting

Note: this role requires a negative pre-employment drug test and an annual flu vaccination (medical and religious exemptions available).

Schedule

11p-7a shift, 5 shifts a week, with rotating every-other-weekend.

Pay and Benefits

• $21.50-$24.25/hr, based on experience
