You will connect residents with social services, assist with employment and education opportunities, and help implement retention programs to build a loyal community.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of social service delivery experience, especially with elderly or family populations, and familiarity with community agencies.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in social service delivery, especially with elderly and/or family populations.

Responsibilities

• Provides general service management including intake, education on services and application procedures, and referral to community service providers.
• Assist residents with employment/job training opportunities and development of resumes.
• Coordinate educational opportunities for residents regarding health care, life skills, safety, and credit.
• Develops a Resource Directory of service providers and maintains relationships with area agencies.
• Assist residents in opening bank accounts and establishing financial stability.
• Greet and assist prospective residents and support administrative duties.
