Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator in the San Jose area to be the heartbeat of the community. You will plan resident events, engage residents, and ensure exceptional customer service, while coordinating communications and outreach to create memorable experiences.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, professional communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks daily, including rent processing and staff coordination.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a customer service, sales, hospitality, or retail position.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong typing skills.
  • Superior customer service skills, including ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and adjust priorities daily.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Estimated Rate of Pay

Estimated Rate of Pay: $26.00 - $33.80 This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates. The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
