Job summary

Dial Senior Living in Iowa City is seeking a friendly front desk associate to deliver exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests. You will manage sign-in, answer phones, coordinate requests, and support daily operations across departments.

This on-site role requires strong communication, multitasking, confidentiality, and a professional appearance. Experience in hospitality or senior living is preferred; must be 18+ and enjoy helping others.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or senior living.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, determine nature of business, assist with sign-in and announce guests to staff or residents.
• Assist residents/families with transportation, reservations, and general information.
• Answer and direct calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
• Respond to emergencies and act as the point of contact in emergencies.
• Monitor lobby and common areas to ensure safety and create a positive environment.
• Maintain reservations and scheduling for guest suites, clubhouse, and private dining.
• Receive mail and packages and distribute accurately and timely.
• Maintain resident/family emergency lists and contacts.
• Receive maintenance and housekeeping requests.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, typing, data entry.
• Promote community events and activities to residents and guests.
• Notify supervisor when items need ordering and maintain office supplies.
