Arrow Senior Living is seeking a friendly receptionist to greet residents, visitors, and staff at Walden Place Senior Living in Iowa City. As the first point of contact, you will deliver outstanding customer service during every interaction and support the administrative team.

This PRN receptionist position offers Thursdays 9:30am–1:00pm with a starting wage of $16.00 per hour and benefits. You will contribute to a home-like environment that values internal growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical solving skills if needed.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Professional in appearance and conduct.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
• Criminal background cleared.
• Good health verified by a physician health screening within 6 months; TB free at time of screening.
• Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping; ability to retrieve items from storage.

Responsibilities

• Be the “First Face” of the community, providing exceptional customer service during every interaction.
• Be the “Go-To Guide”: Answer, or help find the answer, to any questions received by residents, vendors, guests, or employees, whether in person or by telephone.
• Be an “Exceptional Assistant.” Assist the administrative team in completing any tasks assigned and ensure that phone calls are answered in a timely and professional manner.
