Job summary

The Arc at Lincoln in Lincoln, IL is seeking a compassionate Receptionist to welcome residents, families and visitors and to provide friendly, professional service at the front desk. As the first point of contact, you will answer phones, respond to inquiries and help keep the front area orderly and inviting.

This role supports multiple departments, coordinates scheduling, maintains accurate records, and handles light administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors, answering phones, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Greet and receive visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a courteous and empathetic manner
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, including but not limited to resident information, census, and administrative data
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and events
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including answering machines, phones, and other equipment
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow
