Job summary

CCH - (Christian Church Homes) in Sonoma, CA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support efficient and safe management of a senior community. You will help foster a positive environment for residents and staff while ensuring compliance with policies and funding requirements.

In this part-time role, you will assist with marketing, tenant relations, rent collection, income certifications, and inspections, reporting to the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous property management experience preferred.
• Marketing and event space rental experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD/Section 8, Tax Credits, and related programs preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn other systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communications.
• Ability to maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Background checks after conditional job offer.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to caring and positive working and living environments for all employees and residents.
• Model and help ensure compliance with CCH policy and funder and regulatory requirements.
• Provide accurate financial recordkeeping by data entry, electronic transmission, and reporting.
• Perform income re-certifications and maintain resident files.
• Assist in managing tenant relations.
• Assist Community Manager with marketing of vacant units per plan and regulations.
• Assist with wait list maintenance and application processing with compliance checks.
• Collect rent and account for monies collected.
• Assist with move-in/move-out procedures and unit inspections.
• Prepare for site inspections and audits with required documentation.
• Act on Community Manager’s behalf in their absence.
• Other duties as assigned.
