Job summary

Project Access seeks a Community Program Coordinator for Southfork MHC in Missouri. The role designs and implements programs to empower residents, connecting them with services and fostering community life.

You will lead workshops, coordinate after-school activities, build partnerships, and support food distribution while engaging diverse residents in a proactive, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in community outreach, resident services, social services, education, youth programming, or multifamily housing.
• Ability to build relationships, engage residents, and conduct proactive outreach.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative for independent work.
• Experience with youth, families, older adults, and diverse populations.
• Commitment to a welcoming, inclusive environment for residents.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs across Economic Stability, Education, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs aligned with pillars.
• Coordinate after-school and teen programs with homework help and enrichment.
• Plan and facilitate resident-facing workshops; deliver topics when partners unavailable.
• Develop partnerships with local providers for services and workshops.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events for safe relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to nonprofit partners.
• Support food distribution needs and manage food bank partnerships.
• Maintain relationships with property management and schedule meetings.
• Organize monthly outreach including door-to-door and digital efforts.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns at the Resource Center.
• Use personal vehicle for supplies and attend offsite meetings (IRS mileage rate).
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendar of events.
• Collect and submit program outcomes data, focusing on social impact.
• Provide input and manage budgets for resident service programs; may use funds for contractors.
