Job summary

Project Access Inc. is seeking a Community Program Coordinator for Southfork MHC in Belton, MO. The role focuses on implementing multi-pillar programs, resident engagement, and partnerships to empower residents of affordable housing communities.

The position is full-time, non-exempt with a 9am-5:30pm style schedule (Wed–Sat, Tue), located at Southfork MHC. Wage is $24/hr, with health and other benefits provided, and additional voluntary options available.

Qualifications

• Experience in community outreach, resident services, social services, education, youth programming, multifamily housing, or relevant field preferred.
• Ability to build relationships, engage residents, and conduct proactive outreach in community settings.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, initiative, and independent work style.
• Experience with youth, families, older adults, and diverse populations.
• Commitment to welcoming, inclusive, supportive resident environment.
• Bachelor's in Social Work or related field preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs.
• Coordinate and oversee after-school and teen programs with homework help and enrichment.
• Plan and facilitate resident workshops and group sessions, delivering core topics when partners unavailable.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
• Plan and host community-building events to foster relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access services with nonprofit partners.
• Support food distribution and manage food bank partnerships.
• Maintain relationships with property management and schedule communications.
• Organize monthly outreach including door-to-door and digital efforts.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns.
• Use personal vehicle for supplies and offsite meetings (IRS mileage reimbursed).
• Publish monthly newsletters and events calendar.
• Collect program outcomes data focusing on social impact across pillars.
• Assist with budgets for resident programs and contractor funding when needed.
