Job summary

Northwest Housing Alternatives is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to connect residents of affordable housing in Oregon with community resources and support services. This role builds local partnerships, screens needs, and coordinates on-site programs to promote housing stability and opportunities for residents.

The position requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse populations. Benefits are provided as part of a full compensation package.

Qualifications

• Flex schedule including evenings and weekends may be required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Active driver license; driving record acceptable for insurance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome new residents to the community.
• Explain the Resident Services program and access to local resources.
• Develop partnerships with local social service agencies to aid housing stability.
• Assess resident needs and provide information and referrals.
• Plan and implement on-site health, youth, and community-building events.
• Lead quarterly tenant meetings with property management.
• Communicate professionally with diverse populations.
• Collaborate with Resident Services team and attend bi-weekly meetings.
• Coordinate with property/asset staff on housing stability issues.
• Stay informed about community resources and access processes.
