Job summary

Project Access, Inc. in Tucson, AZ seeks a Community Program Coordinator (Lakeside Casitas) to design and deliver programs supporting residents across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.

Connect residents with services, build partnerships, and supervise volunteers to maximize social impact. This role requires a proactive communicator with experience in multi-family housing or social services.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields such as social services or community outreach or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in after-school programs or educational settings for youth
• Experience serving diverse populations with cultural competency and community awareness
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook) and basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur
• Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four initiatives: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs through community engagement.
• Coordinate and oversee an after-school program and teen program with homework assistance and enrichment activities.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate resident-facing workshops and group sessions.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events to foster safe relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access resources and services.
• Support food distribution needs and maintain food bank partnerships.
• Build strong relationships with property management and schedule regular communications.
• Organize monthly outreach through door-to-door, digital, and physical presence in key locations.
• Recruit and oversee volunteers and interns who support programming.
• Use personal vehicle to obtain program supplies and attend offsite meetings (IRS mileage rate).
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendars of events.
• Collect and submit program outcomes data with emphasis on social impact.
