Job summary

Project Access in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Contract Community Program Coordinator for Catalina Ridge to design and implement resident programs that strengthen community life. This temporary, full-time role focuses on connecting residents with services and resources while coordinating onsite classes and events.

You will work independently, building partnerships with local providers, managing a monthly newsletter, and maintaining a resource directory.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year of experience in delivering community programs or social services.
Experience working with diverse populations and demonstrating cultural humility.
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Connecting with residents to identify and provide services that promote self-sufficiency.
Coordinate staffing and presentation of onsite classes, programs and services (afterschool, ESL, nutrition, health, financial education, etc.).
Support food resource and distribution needs in the community.
Maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and programs.
Plan and facilitate events, including community-building activities, throughout the year.
Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources.
Publish a monthly newsletter and calendar of events for residents.
Maintain a resource directory of local service providers.
Collect resident data such as program attendance.
Use of personal automobile to acquire program supplies and attend offsite meetings (IRS mileage reimbursement).
