Job summary

Related Affordable is seeking a Resident Service Coordinator to connect residents with essential services and strengthen community ties within a major affordable housing community. You will support residents in maintaining independence and improving health outcomes while collaborating with property management.

The role emphasizes advocacy, timely service delivery, and organization of events to foster a supportive, resident-centered environment across the housing community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant work experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assistance to residents by identifying and connecting them to appropriate services.
• Educate residents and families on services, eligibility, and application processes with emphasis on wellness and tenant rights.
• Organize activities to encourage engagement and community.
• Act as liaison between residents, property management, and providers to ensure timely support.
• Maintain confidential files, service logs, and incident reports; prepare quarterly summaries.
• Advocate for residents by facilitating access and negotiating with providers.
• Collaborate to plan events calendars; develop volunteer programs.
