The GEO Group, Inc. seeks a dedicated security professional for a full-time position at our facilities. You will supervise resident movement and perform routine safety and security procedures, ensuring order and compliance with policy and contract requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting headcounts, monitoring surveillance, and assisting with healthcare and administrative tasks as needed. Strong communication, time management, and the ability to work overtime are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year general work experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Ability to use computers and department software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all resident movement within the unit.
• Reports resident accidents or injuries to supervisor.
• Provides orientation to new residents and discharges others.
• Performs daily headcounts and writes count reports.
• Conducts daily inspections and searches of sleeping quarters.
• Monitors drug testing when assigned.
• Reports incidents and conducts crisis intervention.
• Collects urine samples for screenings.
• Transports residents by company vehicle to appointments.
• Monitors security cameras to maintain a safe environment.
• Enforces facility rules and supervises visits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
