The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security professional to supervise residents and maintain safety within the facility. The role requires constant alertness, adherence to policies, and clear communication with staff and residents.

You will perform shift reports, routine checks, counts, and secure the premises while welcoming visitors and maintaining confidentiality and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year general work experience; experience in related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous state of alertness to control and secure the facility and residents.
• Prepare shift documentation including shift reports, work orders, security reports, and unusual incidents.
• Conduct routine counts and logbook entries; communicate with staff and residents professionally.
• Welcome visitors and verify their identity, maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
• Comply with policies, perform duties safely, and participate in staff meetings to improve operations.
