The GEO Group is hiring for a full-time position at our facilities in the United States. This role focuses on maintaining an orderly environment, supervising resident movement, and ensuring safety through routine inspections and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and one year general work experience.
• Valid, active driver's license.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Required skills include time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work overtime as requested.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an orderly environment within assigned unit or area of facility in accordance with SOPs and company/client obligations.
• Supervises all resident movement within the unit/area.
• Reports resident accidents or injuries to supervisor.
• Provides orientation to new residents and discharges residents.
• Performs scheduled resident headcounts and writes count reports.
• Conducts daily inspections and searches of sleeping quarters and body searches as necessary.
• Monitors eye drug testing.
• Reports behavioral incidents and conducts crisis intervention.
• Collects urine samples for substance abuse screenings.
• Transports residents by company vehicle to appointments.
• Manages security checkpoints and monitors cameras to ensure safety.
• Enforces facility rules of conduct and supervises resident visitation.
