The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a vigilant, detail-oriented security professional to maintain safety and order at our Newark facility.

You will manage shift readiness, communicate with staff, and ensure all security procedures are followed to protect residents and property. Responsibilities include conducting patrols, documenting incidents, performing checks, and coordinating with supervisory staff to uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year general work experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment for each watch is operational and prepare shift documentation.
• Receive information from previous shift and log relief details.
• Conduct radio checks and maintain accurate building counts.
• Patrol facilities to monitor residents and security.
• Maintain and update the security log with actions and incidents.
