Job summary

EMP Trust HR Solutions seeks a Resident Security professional to supervise residents, perform searches, and maintain records according to facility policies. The role includes conducting bed checks, supervising passes or furloughs, and administering the UA program under supervision.

Must follow detailed procedures, work independently, and communicate effectively with residents and staff. A valid driver's license and proficiency with Word/Excel/Adobe are required.

Qualifications

• Must follow detailed policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and non-verbal communication.
• Ability to influence offenders’ attitudes within correctional program.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and navigating online programs.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor residents; maintain supervision per facility rules.
• Conduct hourly bed checks and document results.
• Perform searches of residents, possessions, rooms, and vehicles.
• Administer urinalysis program under supervision.
• Record and communicate all messages and reports.
• Participate in unit team classification meetings and shift changes.
• Ensure facility safety inspections and incident reporting.
