Job summary

City of Faith seeks a Part Time Resident Security professional to supervise and safeguard residents, perform checks, and manage daily documentation. The role demands vigilant observation, adherence to policies, and effective communication with staff and residents.

Responsibilities include conducting bed checks, searches, and urinalysis under supervision, while maintaining accurate records and supporting emergency plans. Requires weekend/rotating shifts and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related community service or 60 college credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hourly random bed checks and document results.
• Conduct random checks on residents and those on pass or furlough.
• Conduct random searches of residents' possessions and areas.
• Record and communicate messages clearly.
• Complete daily forms and reports as required.
• Assist in safety inspections during each shift.
• Supervise residents' work assignments and monitor behavior.
• Administer urinalysis program under supervisor guidance.
• Coordinate shift changes and communicate handoffs.
