Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Security Guard to ensure a secure environment for residents and associates. The role includes greeting visitors, monitoring the building and parking areas, and responding to emergencies per established protocols.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience or training; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license may be required for travel between locations or resident transport.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience or training.
• CPR/First Aid training or equivalent certification preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license if travel between locations or transport of residents is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and monitor visitors and residents entering and leaving the building.
• Maintain security by patrolling the premises and monitoring safety equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with internal/external authorities as needed.
• Assist with disaster management and evacuations when required.
• Provide information and directions to residents and visitors in a courteous manner.
