Job summary

Brookdale, a nationwide senior living provider, seeks a security-focused associate to protect residents and property. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, monitoring access, and responding to emergencies with the support of the leadership team.

The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with staff, and maintaining secure facilities across shifts. Training in safety protocols and CPR/First Aid is required, with travel between locations possible and a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; 1–3 months related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fire Safety and CPR/First Aid training are required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for travel between locations or transportation of residents.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and monitor residents entering and exiting the building.
• Monitor the inside and outside of the building and the parking lot; report safety concerns as needed.
• Lock doors per community protocol and check life-safety systems regularly.
• Maintain familiarity with safety equipment and respond to emergencies following established procedures.
• Assist with disaster management and evacuations when required.
