Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking an Overnight Security Guard/Concierge to maintain a secure environment for residents and associates. You will greet visitors, monitor entry points, and respond to emergencies, working to ensure safety throughout the campus.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience; CPR/First Aid training and Fire Safety certification are required. On-call and occasional after-hours duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; and 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Fire Safety and Basic CPR/First Aid training.
• Valid driver's license if travel between locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors and monitors residents entering and leaving the building.
• Logs residents and visitors in and out as required.
• Monitors building and parking area; reports abnormal findings to management.
• Locks doors on schedule and checks doors for security nightly.
• Maintains familiarity with security cameras, phones and life safety systems.
• Responds to emergencies per protocol and assists with evacuations.
• Answers calls, directs questions, and takes messages as appropriate.
• escorts residents/visitors to parking lot during evening hours.
• Handles after-hours leasing inquiries and communicates with Sales & Marketing director.
• Drives the community vehicle as needed for operations.
