Job summary

Providence is seeking an Acute Care Resident RN to join Covenant Hosp Plainview, reporting onsite to deliver high-quality nursing care using the nursing process.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license or Texas Graduate Nurse Permit, and BLS. NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months is expected; the position includes a $6,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires and the possibility of additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Texas RN License or Texas Graduate Nurse Permit upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.

Responsibilities

• Independently uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a group of patients.
• Provide patient-centered care onsite at Covenant Hosp Plainview and participate in a collaborative healthcare team.
