Job summary

Providence Health & Services Covenant Plainview is hiring a registered nurse for an on-site, full-time Day shift. The RN will independently use the nursing process to safely care for a group of patients and collaborate to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

A Texas RN license, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale training within 90 days, and at least 1 year of RN experience are required. Sign-on bonus of $8,000 is available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet qualifications.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently uses the nursing process to safely care for a group of patients.
• Uses information from varied sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate the patient's plan of care.
