Job summary

Providence seeks an Acute Care Resident RN for MedSurg in Plainview, TX. This onsite role uses the nursing process to safely and efficiently care for a group of patients, with daily shifts in the Day schedule.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold Texas RN license or Graduate Nurse Permit, and complete NIH Stroke Scale training within 6 months. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Texas Registered Nurse License or Texas Graduate Nurse Permit upon hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale training within 6 months of hire.
• Newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Care for a group of patients in Med/Surg with safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with care team to deliver patient-focused care.
