Job summary

Covenant Health Plainview is seeking an Acute Care Resident RN - MedSurg to join our team onsite in Plainview, TX. This role reports onsite daily and requires commuting distance to our Plainview location.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and a Texas RN license or Texas Graduate Nurse Permit. NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire is also required, with entry-level experience of 12 months or less.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Texas RN License or Texas Graduate Nurse Permit required upon hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate training within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• Newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.

Responsibilities

• Independently uses the nursing process to safely care for a group of patients.
• Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care.
