Job summary

Jubilee Housing in Washington, DC seeks a Community Services Coordinator to nurture a sense of community among justice-involved residents across two housing developments and connect them with enriching experiences within Jubilee’s portfolio.

The role, under the Reentry Programs Manager, focuses on planning, coordinating, and implementing individualized support, onsite programs, and activities while building partnerships to expand resident opportunities and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred; 3 years direct service coordinator experience may substitute for education.
• Experience with resource navigation and individual service plans preferred.
• Proficient in computer applications and automated systems (spreadsheets, MS Office, calendar, email).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate educational, recreational, health, wellness, mentorship and community-building activities for residents.
• Develop calendars (monthly, quarterly, yearly) aligned with resident needs and goals.
• Conduct resident surveys to identify interests and opportunities.
• Organize events, workshops, and community meetings; coordinate multi-family programs.
• Build and maintain partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, social services, and community groups.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteers and program facilitators; coordinate donations and sponsorships.
