Hattie’s Bay Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to ensure safe, accurate medication administration per physician orders and state regulations. The role focuses on diligent observation, timely documentation in MAR, and effective communication with clinical staff to support resident health and well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring responses to medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring secure storage.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification preferred.
• Current Medication Aide/Medication Technician certification or completion of state-approved training.
• Experience in senior living or long-term care settings is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following orders and policy.
• Document all medications accurately in MAR and other systems.
• Monitor residents for effects, adverse reactions, and changes in condition.
• Maintain medication inventory and ensure safe storage and disposal.
• Report changes to supervising nurse and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Assist with ADLs and support resident health and wellness as needed.
