Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care setting. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality and presentation, and maintain high food-safety standards to support a positive dining experience.

You will collaborate with staff, assist with inventory, and provide excellent service while adhering to dietary requirements and facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience preferred.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep the kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
