Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Diet Aide to prepare and serve meals in a long-term care facility. The role supports residents with dietary needs, maintains sanitary kitchen areas, and delivers friendly customer service within a team-oriented environment.

The position requires following safety guidelines, physical stamina to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods, and a readiness to comply with place policies including vaccination requirements. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
