Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines and ensure portions meet nutritional needs while delivering friendly service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and positive interactions with residents and staff. Training is provided, and opportunities for career development are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required depending on state/county.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
